The MIT Enterprise Forum of New York announced the kickoff of the world’s first “real-time” networking and team-building event powered by Cynk.
This groundbreaking effort connects teams and individuals to build a mobile app for adult literacy — and compete for the $7 Million Barbara Bush Foundation Adult Literacy XPRIZE. The launch will take place at a gala kickoff event on the evening of November 18th at The Cooper Union in New York City.
The winning solutions that come out of this global competition will help people overcome key barriers to learning by improving access, while increasing retention, and scaling to meet demand. The purpose of this XPRIZE is to empower low-literate adults living in the U.S. with the skills they need to improve their everyday lives.
